Hey there! I'm a clinical psychologist (Reg. #27116) and an in-training psychotherapist specializing in Family Systems Therapy, focusing on treating issues within couples and families as systems.
Additionally, I serve as a specialist at the Regional Center for Eating Disorders at the Padova Hospital, gaining deeper insights into eating disorders and intervention techniques.
A journey of learning and growth
My experiences abroad have not only broadened my professional horizons (allowing me to learn both English and Spanish), but have also expanded my empathy and curiosity towards different cultures, enriching my clinical practice.
I believe understanding our social and historical framework is essential, just as when learning a new language it is important to know both the grammar and vocabulary but most importantly how to use them. Likewise, for change to occur, it is important to learn to know the language of that symptom or that problem so as to translate it within one's own personal history and to assume competence.

My Approach
At the core of systemic family therapy is the belief that an individual's well-being is inextricably linked to the dynamics within their family system. I practice this approach with the understanding that patterns of behavior, communication, and interpersonal relationships within a family can impact each member’s welfare.
Together, we explore how each person's actions affect the whole, and I guide the family towards developing healthier, more supportive interactions. By addressing the relationships within the family, we work collaboratively to bring about positive changes and healing, ultimately benefiting each family member’s personal growth and mental health.
